Site Assessment and Cleanup (Remediation)
Brownfields
SRW's extensive remediation experience includes excavation, groundwater extraction, soil vapor extraction, dual-phase extraction, bioremediation, chemical oxidation, and natural attenuation. Engineering and institutional controls are also employed, sometimes as stand alone remedies, and other times in conjunction with physical remediation. Accurately determining on-site conditions and establishing reasonable goals is key to selecting an effective remedial alternative.
One of the key things that differentiates SRW from other environmental services firms is that we don't limit our focus to just the environmental aspects of each project. Rather, we recognize that our role in assessing the environmental condition of your site is part of a much larger development project with very specific objectives.
This means that if we encounter hazards at your site, we don't give up. Nor do we propose "short cuts" that might jeopardize safety. Rather, we work diligently to mitigate the impact that these hazards pose, and in general, to offer remediation solutions that will help you achieve your project goals.
By taking a solution-oriented approach, we help you to achieve your objectives rather than create more obstacles to overcome.
