UST Closure

Petroleum Services

When an operating UST system is taken out of service, there are a host of regulatory guidelines and reporting requirements to be considered.  As an owner or operator of a UST system, your ultimate goal upon closing a petroleum system is to adhere to the regulatory standards in order to be granted No Further Action status from the State authority.  As you are aware, the process involved in obtaining the NFA is complex and arduous…it is a process that is of utmost importance to your company, and, as such, should be managed by professionals who handle such responsibilities every day.

SRW has provided turnkey UST closure services at more than 500 UST and LUST facilities.  We are experienced in the permitting, closure, environmental sampling, and environmental reporting elements required by the State.  Furthermore, SRW is available to assist clients in applying to the state reimbursement agencies, as well as organizing and filing clients’ reimbursement claims.

SRW’s experience and technical expertise have established our reputation within the petroleum industry and with regulators as being a “by-the-book” and professional service provider.  You can trust us to close your UST system appropriately, and with your NFA in mind.
