Site Remediation and Building Demolition for the Aeronca Project
Middletown, OH
The City of Middletown, Ohio selected SRW to conduct site remediation and building demolition for the Aeronca project, a Round 2 CORF project. The work involves the demolition of all buildings and associated foundations located on the property. Activities also include the removal and disposal of building waste components and residuals, the removal and disposal of all regulated asbestos-containing materials from all buildings, and soil and groundwater remediation. The treatment of soil and groundwater impacted by VOCs will be completed using a proprietary bio-augmented culture containing pseudomonas bacteria as well as treatment via chemical oxidation and reduction. The TCE plume extends over 2,000 feet and is within the City’s drinking water well field.
