Rail Depot Redevelopment
Barberton, OH
SRW is currently assisting the City of Barberton with the remediation and redevelopment of a 5-acre facility formerly used as a railroad depot and storage yard. The site, which includes UST, coal and material storage concerns, also contains fuel and heavy metal contaminated soils. A COVENANT-NOT-TO-SUE is anticipated from Ohio EPA in summer, 1999 for the property. The site will be redeveloped into single family residential homes.
