HP Deuscher Foundry
City of Hamilton, OH
For the H.P. Deuscher Foundry, SRW provided Phase I and II assessment and property-specific risk assessments, UST removal, and an anti-degradation demonstration in support for preparation of a No Further Action Letter (anticipated). A $100,000 low interest loan was obtained through Ohio's Water Pollution Control Fund to address the property's environmental concerns; UST's, heavy metals, and spent foundry sands were detected. The Deuscher facility, directly adjacent to the Estate Stove site detailed above, is also being considered for redevelopment into a new Butler County regional jail.
